GertLUGgers in the Community

Two GertLUG members took the spirit of the LEGO House to Rugeley by organising a LEGO build event for 13 Rainbows (aged 5 to 7). Jo Maguire and Kavan Wilkinson created packs of the LEGO House Butterfly pick a build, which contained 45 bricks along with build instructions. LEGOLAND After Hours…

A couple of lucky luggers were given access to LEGOLAND Billund after it had closed this weekend. While it was nothing like ‘Night at the Musem’ it did make for some eerie and interesting experiences. A stationary carousel with human sized LEGO models glistening in the moonlight, casting dancing shadows on the wet floor – creepy! GertLUG donates LEGO to Stockwood Library

LEGO can be used in many different ways. It is often used by schools and community groups to teach creativity, problem solving, communication and collaboration. When Bristol based, Stockwood Library asked if we could help, we jumped at the chance. Milton Keynes Brick Festival 2

GertLUGgers Emily and Hannah embarked upon a 300 mile round trip to exhibit and visit the Milton Keynes Brick Festival 2 on Saturday 9th November. Despite various diversions and delays, we arrived on time for the public opening at 10am.
