There is now just one week left until our first event of 2021 and our first event since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The return of the Brick Express to the Avon Valley Railway once again includes displays of LEGO models at Bitton station created by members of GertLUG.
Tickets for the trains will need to be booked in advance and the model displays will be open all day for ticket holders to look around as many times as you like. To book your train tickets, please visit the Avon Valley Railway's website by clicking here.
The LEGO model displays will be housed inside two marquees at Bitton station and to comply with current government guidelines, face masks or coverings must be worn when in the marquees. To maintain the required 2 metre social distancing, the numbers of visitors in the marquees at any one time will be limited and a one way system in place. There will also be hand sanitiser available around the station site.
We look forward to seeing everyone who visits the Brick Express event at the Avon Valley Railway on the 5th and 6th of June 2021 and hope you enjoy your visit. For those that don't make it, keep an eye out on here and the GertLUG Facebook page for photos after the event is over.
The photo below features one of the displays from the previous Brick Express event in 2019, built by Kerry Barrass. We can't wait to see what models are on display this year.
