It has now been officially announced that the new LEGO Brand retail store that was due to open in Cabot Circus, Bristol during November, will now be opening on Wednesday the 2nd of December at 10am.
Here at GertLUG we're very excited to finally have our own local LEGO Store to plunder, but unfortunately there are still restrictions in place due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, with Bristol being placed into tier 3, the highest level of the national tier system. While the prospect of the new LEGO Store opening will be enough to encourage many of us to venture into the centre of Bristol for opening day, we do encourage everyone to be mindful of the Government guidlines in regards to social distancing and other tier 3 restrictions, which includes advice against travelling in and out of different areas of the UK.
However, with the opening of this new store, we're looking forward to the opportunity of future meet ups and shopping trips that the central Bristol location will provide once government restrictions allow.
