Our first meet up of 2020 was a cracker. We had the usual crowd and a few new members for the first time coming from as far afield as Swindon and Barry! The meeting theme was LEGO Board Games. There was a selection of LEGO Games to choose from and a few members enjoyed a game or two. It was really good fun and enjoyed by all.
The build competition of the month was Southwest Landmarks. There were some amazing entries including a fair few suspension bridges. Emily's suspension bridge with balloons flying over and Jamie's interpretation of a Banksy painting in Bristol came joint first.
The rest of the evening was normal LEGO banter. The swap box and play bricks were out for members to use and sort through to find the missing pieces they needed. End result was a fab evening and a great start to the new year.
