Brick Balloon Festival 2024
Bristol is well known for its landmarks and attractions including the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Brunel’s SS Great Britain and many more. There are also some amazing events hosted in Bristol so that is why the 2024 GertLUG collaborative build is a miniature version of the Bristol Balloon Festival built entirely out of LEGO bricks.
Anfloc 2023
Welcome to the city of 'Anfloc' (it's an anagram of Falcon as I couldn't think of anything better and the latest knight minifigures are based on the Black Falcons from the 1980s sets). This medieval city is in an important trading area and is surrounded by a wall for protection in case of attack. Within the walls are various homes, shops and other buildings with visitors from many places in the land. Outside, on the road to the city are travellers, bandits and other people of the forest.
Priate Cove 2022
Pirate Cove will be an island based collaborative build allowing contributors to use their creativity to form their own unique island. In addition to islands, members can also opt for building a boat or ship to go around the islands. This will increase the amount of members taking part, allowing for every build and interest level. It is open to anyone and everyone who wants to give it a go. This is all about getting involved and being a part of something bigger. No experience necessary!
