GertLUG Website Relaunches

It's here! We are absolutely delighted to announce the launch of the brand-new GertLUG website!

This isn't just a simple refresh—it's a total overhaul designed to improve your online experience. We've introduced a whole host of exciting new features, from a striking new logo banner with a cool parallax effect to a sleek new stud background and a streamlined sidebar full of useful member information. The new homepage now offers two distinct journeys, giving the public a great introduction to who we are, while providing members with a dedicated hub just for them. Plus, we've created dedicated pages for our famous brick shows and significantly expanded and enhanced the members-only section.

This ambitious project has been a long time in the making, and we couldn't be more proud of the result. A massive thank you goes out to our incredible webmaster, who was elected by our members earlier this year and tasked with bringing this vision to life. They have truly delivered on their promise to build a modern, dynamic online home for our community.

But the work doesn't stop here! We’re also excited to announce a fantastic new feature that will allow members to get involved and vote on upcoming initiatives. Keep an eye on the new "Member News" section of the members' homepage and our members-only Facebook group for more details.

Behind the scenes, the hard work continues. Over the next few weeks, our webmaster will be undertaking the monumental task of migrating over 1,200 photos from our blog to a new server. This will free up valuable space for even more great content and ensure the site runs smoothly for everyone.
