After an amazing Bristol Brick show 2022, GertLUG were able to donate an fantastic £6813.55 plus £1000 worth of LEGO sets to Children’s Hospice South West. This was a fantastic amount to be raised and Emily, Paul and Carol took it over to the Hospice. Two GertLUG members took the spirit of the LEGO House to Rugeley by organising a LEGO build event for 13 Rainbows (aged 5 to 7). Jo Maguire and Kavan Wilkinson created packs of the LEGO House Butterfly pick a build, which contained 45 bricks along with build instructions. LEGO can be used in many different ways. It is often used by schools and community groups to teach creativity, problem solving, communication and collaboration.
